I believe that you need to write out achievable goals in order to have success become successful in anything you want to achieve in life. As for me i make little goals week by week to improve on anything that i want to get better at. Like when I decided to loose weight, I started off cutting back on what i drank. I only drank water, then about a week or two later water was the normal for me. I didn't just dive in head first because that's gonna make you want to crave your old eating habits. Well at least for me, I would go back to my old ways and want to eat and drink what I was used to and that was anything. On the brighter side I stuck to the plan and was successful.
On another level about setting goals and taking it step by step, for me going back to school wasn't easy. I had been out of school for nine years before I decided to follow my dreams and become a registered nurse. I knew it was possible but I knew I had to have a plan, especially since I have children who I am responsible for. I always knew I wanted to become a registered nurse but I needed a plan as to how I was going to make that happen. I needed a job that would give me the flexibility that I would need to attend school during the day time. From there I got the job that would fit with my school schedule. I took time out to see how I was going to balance working, attending school and being a full time mother. Now I am currently working toward that dream and making it reality. That all came from setting goals and going after them to gain the success you want.
