I worked alone to compose my academic mindset project. One good approach for me was that I started the day the assignment was given to us in class. Also I was able to take my time and think, look over my notes that we took in class and other materials that helped me with this writing.
The most difficult part about writing this project was putting my thoughts on paper. I'm not sure why i was having trouble with it because I enjoy writing. I overcame this obstacle by taking my time. Also by writing out topics to discuss and finding materials to back up my argument. The most successful of them all is free writing that our professor taught us in class, which is setting a timer and writing without stopping. That helped me get my ideas on paper.
It took me about a week to actually finish up this project. I started on my assignment the day it was given to us in class. I had enough time to write it was the good approach. Starting as soon as possible, making sure I met the deadline.
I started writing this project at school. Then I continued most of it in my dining room when the children were in school. Most of the time I was alone and I had a piece of mind so quiet with no interruptions, so that I can focus.
I chose to write about having growth mindsets because that's relatable to me because I have a growth mindset. I strongly believe that there is no limit to what you can learn or become if you apply yourself.
When revising my academic mindset I hope to not be so hard on myself about removing things that I thought was good the first time. I also will do more research try reading more materials to back up my writing.
